Return Policy
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you're not happy with your order, we accept returns within 30 days of delivery.
Items must be in their original condition: unworn, unwashed, with all tags attached, and in the original packaging.
How to Return an Item
Step 1: Contact Us
Contact our customer service team at support@makini.africa or through our contact page. Please include your order number and reason for return.
Step 2: Receive Return Authorization
Once we receive your request, we'll send you a return authorization and instructions on how to proceed.
Step 3: Package and Ship
Package the item securely in its original packaging (if available) and ship it back to us using a trackable shipping method. We recommend keeping the tracking number for your records.
Step 4: Refund Processing
Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll process your refund within 5-10 business days. The refund will be issued to the original payment method.
Return Conditions
Items must meet the following conditions to be eligible for return:
- Unworn, unwashed, and unused
- All original tags and labels attached
- In original packaging (if available)
- No signs of wear or damage
- Returned within 30 days of delivery
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- Items that have been worn, washed, or used
- Items without original tags or labels
- Items damaged due to misuse or negligence
- Items returned after 30 days
- Personalized or customized items
- Items purchased during final sale or clearance
Return Shipping Costs
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item was defective or we made an error with your order.
If you received a defective item or incorrect order, please contact us immediately, and we'll cover the return shipping costs.
Refund Processing
Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used for the purchase. Processing times may vary:
- Credit/Debit Cards: 5-10 business days after we receive your return
- Mobile Money: 3-5 business days after we receive your return
- Bank Transfer: 5-7 business days after we receive your return
Please note that shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item was defective or we made an error.
Exchanges
We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you need a different size or color, please return the item and place a new order for the item you want.
This ensures you get the correct item quickly and helps us process your return more efficiently.
Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately at support@makini.africa with photos of the damage or defect.
We'll arrange for a replacement or full refund, including return shipping costs, at no charge to you.
